Checkpoint is a free, community based HIV and syphilis testing service from SX Scotland.

The service offers access to: 

  • Rapid HIV and Syphilis testing
  • Advice and support with all things sexual health
  • Free condoms and lube

Clinics alternate between Crew, in the centre or Edinburgh, and local venues in the Lothians and Forth Valley.

  • Clinics at Crew take place every second Thursday evening from 5 - 7pm - any changes to dates or times are updated on the booking form. 
  • Final clinic before Christmas - 15 December
  • First clinic of 2023 - 12 January

  • Wednesday 14 December, 12-5pm
  • Wednesday 15 February, 12-5pm

Raploch Community Campus, Stirling

  • Wednesday 18 January, 12-5pm

  • Wednesday 1 February, 12-5pm 

The service is completely free and confidential.

Booking is recommended, but drop ins also welcome - just ask for SX at the venue's reception.
