Gay, bisexual and other men who have sex with men tend to experience a larger burden of mental and wider health problems than other groups.

It’s important that we make sure that the organisations that offer help and support to us have an up-to-date understanding of the issues that we’re dealing with so they know how to help.

The world has changed a lot in the past couple of months and the support that we need now may have also changed. Certainly, the organisations that offer care and support have had to adapt to new ways of working, delivering services that used to be face-to-face online and over the phone.

This is why we’re running this survey – we want to understand how your mental and wider health is now and what resources you’ve been using to help look after yourself. By gathering this information, we’ll be able to provide an up-to-date overview of what our mental and wider health needs are. This will give the organisations that are there to help us a better idea of where they should be focusing their efforts.

The survey takes up to 30 minutes to complete but you can take breaks and come back to it if you like. You can also opt in to take part in other surveys in the future (so we can keep up to date on what services need to be doing).

We will also be looking to interview some of the people who take part in the survey to get a better understanding of your experience with mental and wider health issues, how you look after yourself currently, and what you need out of services in the future.
