Intimate Partner Violence Focus Group

Workshop participants needed!

In connection with Glasgow Caledonian University, we conducted a research project investigating the experiences of Intimate Partner Violence (IPV) in gay and bisexual men.

The research has now been completed, looking at:

  1. Same-sex relationship factors
  2. Forms of abuse
  3. Impact on health
  4. Barriers/facilitators for attending services.

We are now seeking community members to participate in a research workshop to engage with the findings and highlight key areas of importance, and develop action points which are a priority from the key findings.

Who can participate?

  1. Men who have had sex with other men (including trans men)
  2. 18 years old and over
  3. Reside in Scotland
  4. You do not have to have experienced IPV

Workshop Details

The workshop will take place in central Edinburgh on Friday 30th September, from 1.30pm-5pm.

Participants will be reimbursed £75 for attending. Lunch will be provided.
