At SX, we want to encourage people to learn from one another, share experiences and enjoy spending time together in groups.

Whatever challenges you are facing, it’s always worth remembering you’re not alone and that someone else will have experienced the same feelings.

We want provide opportunities for gay and bisexual men, and men who have sex with men, to meet up to chat, socialise and get support from each other in a confidential, relaxed setting. This can be as a group or one-to-one with a trained peer support volunteer.

Through our partners at Waverley Care, we’re already involved in a support group for gay and bisexual men living with HIV or Hepatitis C. Over the coming months we’re looking to add new groups, with initial ideas including book groups, gym groups and support with issues like smoking cessation.

However we’d also like to hear your ideas about the types of group you’d be interested in taking part in. If you have suggestions, get in touch with the SX team to let us hear them.
